Jungle Bugs Soft Play

We are a family run soft play centre set in the heart of Melton Mowbray. We offer a safe, secure and inclusive environment for children to explore whilst having fun in the jungle. Jungle bugs soft play offers a variety of activities and play equipment for children up to the age of eight years to explore. Our two story soft play centre (includes a wave slide, climbing frames, swinging bash bags, rollers and a selection of soft animals) is the perfect size and designed so parents and carers can supervise and see their children at all times. The smaller area caters for our younger explorers, this offers soft shapes, hoppers, mirrors and a slide. And the den is our new addition and is perfect for imaginative play. Jungle bugs event will consist of 1 hours play and then child's buffet for lunch ( food offering is for the children only) Parents are welcome to purchase drinks and food from the cafe but this must be purchased by yourselves. Enjoy a family day out at the seaside. Free transport provided. Meet at the designated pick up point Families must be on time for the return coach. This programme is funded for children to take part in enriching activities over the Winter Holidays. We work closely with our venue's to ensure all children's experiences are a positive one. • No alcohol is to be consumed for the duration of this trip and the trip is is no smoking. Any alcohol consumed on site or parents smoking outside the venue will lead to a permanent ban on all of our current and future activities for your children as well as return access denied. Our staff have been informed of this and will enforce this. • This is a trip with access to PUBLIC venues, we have a private coach and our Risk Assessment states due to this that during our Summer Activities a Parent or Carer must remain on the activity site at all times to supervise their children within the venue and have full responsibility for this. TB SPORT staff are on site to coordinate the activity and assist with requests for information and other aspects of the HAF Programme as covered by the DFE's funding. • As a reminder when children are taking part in our offsite activities it is a non negotiable that your conduct when dropping off, collecting or supervising your children must meet our expectations along with good behaviour from all children taking part. We are the venue's guests. Any unacceptable behaviour inside or outside the venue will lead to a permanent ban on all of our current and future activities for your children. Our staff have been informed of this and will enforce this. • When taking part in any of our Summer Activities if your children or you have any minor concerns please speak with either our staff members or the host venues staff members straight away as they will be able to resolve these. This is an incredibly popular event and we could only hire 56 seats on the coach for adults and children. Many children who have enquired unfortunately miss out so if you know you cannot attend please allow us to reallocate those spaces.

The Holiday Activities and Food Program (HAF) is funded by the Department for Education. TB SPORT are running face to face sessions that are FREE to children and young people aged 4 – 13 years and receiving benefits-related free school meals. Included in each session is a meal. Children are guaranteed a safe, fun filled, action packed day. All clubs are run by qualified, enhanced DBS and first aid trained staff. Children's arrival time is 8.30am. Children's pick-up time is between 3pm & 4pm- Last Collection is 4pm. If you do arrive before or after these allocated slots please call the office. !! Parking will not be available on school premises !! What to Bring Children must only bring the following items to holiday club; Please ensure all items of clothing are named so we are able to return any lost property One bag containing; • Appropriate and spare clothing (please plan for all weathers) and footwear (trainers)- A coat, we spend as much time outside as possible. • Any medication that will be needed throughout the day. Please make our staff aware of medical needs and medication provided on drop off so we can monitor this throughout the day. • Your child(ren) are able to bring scooters and helmets for all venues - No helmet, no scooting. Please note the scooter areas are not suitable for bikes. • Please note we do not allow children to bring mobile phones or any electronic devices to our holiday clubs. • If your child brings any personal items such as fidget toys, teddies, please understand that we cannot be held responsible for any damaged or lost items.
